Subject: [DUG] Using Program Compatibility Mode

Hello everyone,

I am using Delphi 7 to develop an win32 application which runs on Win95, Win98, Windows 2000, Windows XP including SP1.

The application I developed did not work on a machine from a customer which run on Windows XP SP1 this morning. If the application changed to run under Win98 compatibility mode, it works, without speicifying it or specify anything greater than Win98 compatibility mode, it just simply crash, and Windows display error box.

My questions is how can I know which part of delphi code cause that problem? How can I detect it? Do I have to install Delphi 7 on this customer machine to know it? Or install remote debugger?

TIA

Regards
Leigh
