Yeah, there should be a WinInet Delphi unit that has a lot of this
functionality in it.

I haven't used it for actually establishing a connection, but I used to
use some functions in there for determining whether or not I was
connected to the internet, and to disconnect a connection, etc.

Worked fine, and you shouldn't have to worry about the RAS stuff.

If you've got other specific questions, drop me a line, and I'll see
what I can dig up.

Cheers,

C.

Hi all.
All I want to do is to fire up the default connection and disconnect the
default connection.

I have been looking at various RAS components which all consume
considerable code in order to do their tricks.

There is an MS implimentation called 'WinInet' but is that all thats
left to do such a seemingly simple task?
Thanks,
Alistair+
