This appears to be a new feature for IB 7.1
"Dependency tracking for UDF's" :-(

We are
attempting to Drop a UDF "SubStr" and then Add the UDF back (with a bigger
size).
The problem is that dropping the UDF raises a error:
"Cannot
delete FUNCTION SUBSTR there are x dependencies"
We Initially tested in
IB7.0 - all worked fine
When we tested it in IB7.1 - the Error is
created.
Is this a new "feature" or a "bug" or something else
?
