I just wrote a tool that compares 2 Access Dbs and generates CREATE or ALTER statements as needed.

Its not terribly hard to do if you haev the time.

If you are interested, I can forward you my code or tell you the way I found the bes/easiest to do it.

Has anybody got any recommendations on SQL metadata compare/synchronise tools?  Between two MS SQL 2000 databases. ie Does a compare then produces a script to run against the 2nd database to make the meta data  identical to the first db.

 

We have been doing a trial using SQL Compare from Redgate software.

 

Any other options?
