I am the author of the "Open XML" and some other open-source Delphi components (see "http://www.philo.de/";), part of which are included in the Delphi/Kylix destribution. Currently I am staying at Victoria University Wellington as a Visiting Professorial Fellow. Of course, I would be interested in hearing more about Borland's future plans for Delphi. Is there a presentation taking place in Wellington as well?
On Thursday from 12-1.30pm, I am going to present a research seminar about my APE project (developed in Delphi, see: "http://www.philo.de/ape/";). If you are interested, you are welcome to attend.
