80186 rings a bell with me. I think a place I worked at 20 odd years ago had a multi-user Concurrent CPM machine (or TurboDOS) and each workstation had it's own board in the main box, and I believe each board had it's own 80186 CPU, but I could be wrong.

Just an aside - are you sure there was an 80186? I thought the '286 was the
direct successor to the 8086/8088 processors (which were essentially the same,
just commercially distinct). The "Mark 1" aspect was just implied by specifying
the "Mark 2" aspect of the 80286.
