I appears that PreviewModal is the problem - found some other info on the net that said PreviewModal was unstable - use Preview.
This would appear to be the case - preview works fine...
(I can live without the Modelness).

OK. There was an issue with D6 and Quick Reports doing this. Maybe if you delete your .dcus and do a  build all? If not then try the latest version of Quick Reports standard which I am pretty sure is a free download.

I had this problem under d6 and doing the above fixed the problem from memory. It was a couple of years ago though.

I have an App that Launches a  QuickReport (PreviewModal) - this works fine except that if the user Opens & Closes several times approx 4-5 the QuickReport will generate an AV.

This, according to the Net, is to be expected :-()

The solutions appear to be  pause the App for a little bit ...

I tried Sleep this made it worse - the QuickReport would cause an AV after 1-2 Opens & Closes

I am using the standard PreviewModal to let the users display and print the Report - I don't want to try writing my own especially as I may end up with the same problems...

Any ideas
