Since writing that, I've had a few funnies, like Av's etc. The worst one was
when I opened a form in the designer, for some reason it replicated the
source from the file, and stuck it at the bottom of the file.

The lack of ADO support has made me revert to VS for C# at the moment too, I
thought I could work around it, but can't.

Subject: Re: [DUG] Impressions on D2005

Good for you James. Aside from all the bitching about speed,
functionality and crashes... we cant compile our D7 app and we are
not alone. The compiler crashes - someone forgot to put try except
around some code. The unit concerned is still open (and hence
locked), the dcu is halfwritten to and locked etc. Nothing helpful on
the screen just an AV on read of 00000 in dcc90.

On examination of Quality Control for beta it would seem that they
knew about this and chose not to fix it. I am waiting for this upgrade
that was due before thanksgiving. Anyone know when thanksgiving
is / was ?

Basically D2005 is looking very pretty on the shelf. :-)
