then we have a mystery.  I stopped using it after I found it had no 
effect on XP and then found the help which said it was not 
supported on XPs.  :-)

Hate to differ but I tried it here on XP and the memory dropped quite
dramatically. So I looked it up SetProcessWorkingSetSize in MSDN like
Darrell and it states on client OS's
 "Requires Windows XP, Windows 2000 Professional, or Windows NT Workstation
3.5 and later."

What can I say it works.
