Hey I've just found this!
I am currently working on printing to a receipt printer as well. If the paper
cut is set up as a printer command, how do you then send that command from
Delphi? Is it any easier than just sending the character sequence (sounds like
two characters)?

Have a look at the printer driver options. If you are wanting to print
the receipt in plain ascii then use the Generic/Plain Text driver and
add the paper cut to the driver options. Alternatively you can send raw
data direct to the print queue to cut the paper, but that defeats the
purpose of a driver.
