Title: ECO Question
I don't understand your "However", but the answer to your ECO class question is no. But there is a CD coming out that the Brazilian PSO have built a Delphi wizard that creates SOAP value objects from your model.

Subject: RE: [DUG] ECO Question

Hi

This does what I wanted --  a unique id to reference objects by and use to get and update classes.  Thank you

However
I can get the external Id and i can also get the class using the external id as an TObject, but i cant seem to get the TObject to cast back to the class type etc...

Also is it possible to serialize the ECO Classes so that they cant be passed via soap to a client

Jason

You shouldn't try to. You should use the External ID instead and use that - look at the ASp.NET samples that ship and see how it is used.

Does any know have to get access to the ECO ID of an object?
