Due to continued growth we're
currently looking for a responsible Delphi developer to join our established
Development Department at PayGlobal head office in Christchurch, New Zealand.
The objective of this department is to provide quality HRMS software for our
ever-expanding customer base. This is delivered
as a thin client using .NET and Win32 Delphi product, with a SQL Server
back-end.
Reporting to the Development Group
Leader, you'll be responsible for quality development, on-time delivery of
tasks, and ownership of the areas allocated to you within the
product.
Central to these responsibilities is
your high level of commitment to improving and advancing our world-class
products for supply to our valued resellers. You will have 3 years of recent
Delphi experience working in an object oriented environment. Your experience and
mature attitude, combined with good communication skills, will enable you to
provide guidance and assistance to other Developers as well as Quality Assurance
and Business Analyst employees in the department.
Other essential areas of expertise
include excellent problem solving and code documentation skills, a proactive
learning style and a good grounding in up-to-the date programming techniques. An
understanding of MS SQL Server 2000 and using it in conjunction with Delphi
would be beneficial. Experience in Payroll or Human Resource Management systems
would also be favourable but is not essential.
