Since Oracle 9i Oracle introduced the SQL92 join syntax (inner join, left
outer join, right outer join, and full outer join, etc) ... and still
supports the old oracle way of outer joins (where x(+)=y).

So, no need to learn new join syntax, it will just work.

Kind Regards,
Stefan Mueller

Hi

Just out of interest, how does Oracle do joins ?????

Not the standard

[INNER / LEFT / RIGHT / OUTER] JOIN TableA ON TableA.a = TableB.a

I take it :)
