I havent tried it personally but IT say too many issues with mono at moment, missing pieces, etc. Might be worth watching if MS doesnt figure out how to torpedo it. But for moment, jre is installed and stable anywhere I need it. IT havent put mono anywhere and don't have any plans to either. > Why would anyone use c#? Ease of use, speed of development, huge runtime > library, community, multi-platform (Windows, SmartPhone, PocketPC, now Palm, > and Linux and Mac using Mono). Compared to Java?? What do you use as IDE as matter of interest? (Not that I am actaully a great fan of java but java servlets sure are handy and netbeans guis work well cross-platform). ---------------------------------------------------------- Phil Scadden, Institute of Geological and Nuclear Sciences 764 Cumberland St, Private Bag 1930, Dunedin, New Zealand Ph +64 3 4799663, fax +64 3 477 5232 _______________________________________________ Delphi mailing list [email protected] http://ns3.123.co.nz/mailman/listinfo/delphi
