Hi John, If you only need the Pro version, that's what you should go for. You are penalized a little bit, but not significantly.
About the help - I don't know. I haven't installed it yet, I have just managed to get access to a copy and am now downloading it. Now currently D5 Professional has everything I have needed, except TClientDataSet which is in D2006 professional. I am trying to talk myself into Enterprise or Architect but know I could get by with the Pro version... I am a single developer not using Database or Web stuff.... Please persuade me I should go for the higher versions!!! If I get Pro and want to upgrade to Enterprise or Architect later, does it work out much more expensive getting it later?? Also does anyone know if the Help is complete in D2006 - heard lots of comments that the D2005 Help was missing lots of stuff from earlier versions...I do use the help lots and want it quickly accessable rather than having to look up D5 help. _______________________________________________ Delphi mailing list [email protected] http://ns3.123.co.nz/mailman/listinfo/delphi
