Can someone please help with calculations in rave reports? I have looked online and at the 2005 help. I'm obviously missing something: I cannot work out how to display the value of one field multiplied by a number.
This should be easy. I have looked at the CalcOp component and it appears to be the one to use however, I cannot work out the relationship between CalcOp and CalcController, or how to get the value of a calculation to display. The scenario is a basic invoice type, use a CalcText component to sum the lines, multiply this value by 0.125 and display the result then add the two together in a third. Just some sort of idea of how this all hangs together would be nice. Or is there a tutorial on this subject? (I haven't found anything).
