I don't think we win by being older. Quite the opposite in fact. Anyhow, since I am old I am going to ramble on about the good old days for a bit (it's what old fellas do after all)
When I was getting my computing qualification we had to do a module called introduction to computers or something along those lines. In the first week we where taught dos commands. Dir /w, del *.* /s, Format c: and the like. There was a pretty, but fairly vacant girl sitting next to me in the first week. Half way through the lesson she exclaimed loudly "I just don't get it, what's the point of DOS!". This was in the start of the Win 95 days where windows was still just a shell on top of good old DOS. I guess it's a fair question, but it was kind of like asking a chicken what the point of eggs was.
