Thanks Alan.
We've had talks with various real estate web sites with mixed results.
We were *that* close to having one of them partner with us (imagine
forefinger and thumb really really close together) when they worked out
that for a lot of their houses, they didn't actually want the exact
position of the house known except by appointment only!.

Hey nice work Phil. I've now
bookmarked this as my new favourite online map. I've been house hunting
lately and having a online map has been real handy finding locations.
Perhaps you could get some sort of hook-up with real-estate websites
(trademe etc)

Subject: Re: [DUG] TUMONZ SDK beta program
Do you like the interface on the TUMONZ Live mapplet (www.tumonz.co.nz/mapplet.php)?
We are overhauling the whole TUMONZ interface for version 3 and using
the mapplet navigation style. One thing we have realised as TUMONZ 2
has grown - it has become difficult to use cause we just added stuff to
it all the time. We are spending a lot of time on getting the GUI right
this time so if you want to be part of the beta program, any feedback
you can provide will be welcome.
Cheers,
Phil.

data, easier to use) and are building in a TCP based SDK for 3rd parties

Okay, I have TUMONZ, mostly for property info. I wonder if you doing
anything on the interface. To a GIS user, the current one isnt very
intuiative. (eg I like to zoom by marquee box around area of interest).
Anyway, GNS also has a number of potential layers that would be interest
to us to provide on 3rd party basis. My speciality would be sunshine hours
(eg total sun, shortest/longest/day sun, etc etc) at DTM resolution.
