For starters, the Documents and Settings folder is gone, replaced by the Users folder, which is located in the root of the system drive (usually C:). Each user account has its own profile folder here, which contains 11 folders, each devoted to a different type of data. [my comment - finally!!! Windows has adopted the folder structure that Unix has used with success and without fundamental changes since 1970]   John
