The Turbo Delphi for Win32 Pro will be exactly like BDS 2006 Delphi for
Win32 - imagine you just installed the Win32 profile. So yes, no ECO (as
that is .NET only, it is in Turbo Delphi for .NET). Turbo Explorer - the
free version, is EXACTLY THE SAME, just can't add in 3rd party tools of
any kind.

Hi Richard

I think that its a great idea , if my understanding of it is correct.

Am I right in saying that Durbo Delphi (pro?) for Win 32 will be the new
(2005+) IDE, with Win 32 Delphi but without a number of the third party
or advanced add ons i.e. Eco, Rave etc ?

I see the web site is very incomplete, the links to Datasheet, Feature
Matrix etc are missing.

I certainly see this will help DevCo compete better in the .net world.
I have always though MS had a big advantage in that it could ship a new
version of .net and new dev langauges simultaneously. Borland would
always have to wait for the .net to be shipped than build their new
tools. At least by separating the .Net version out DevCo will be able
to respond to changes in .Net faster.
