I have use intraweb for my web app.  It works well for me.  It is only ever 
dealing with 3-4 users at once so I can't say how it would work under stress.

If you need more sophisticated controls, there are some third party ones out 
there, tmssoftware.com for one.

It does have some quirks, but nothing show stopping.
