I use wizzRss which is a firefox plugin. I personally don't do enough with Delphi at the moment to bother reading the community site anymore.
The annoying thing I find with ComputerWorld is that it is just rehashes of articles published in the US version, which a fair few have little or no significance with NZ. Also I find that the topics in their monthly "Development" features are not even about development at all. A while back I remember them having an article about Vista in the Development section. _____ From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Richard Vowles Sent: Tuesday, 24 October 2006 8:43 a.m. To: NZ Borland Developers Group - Delphi List Subject: RE: [DUG] Whar do you read: straw poll I presume you use RSS to read the blogs? Does anyone use RSS to read the BDN announcements? http://community.borland.com/rss I get Computerworld delivered as well, but am becoming increasingly unimpressed with it. I've had a few people email me and say Cringely! Blogs are very convenient. Get NZ ComputerWorld delivered too. As far as best practice style information, MSDN practices and patterns and MSDN webcasts are pretty hard to beat, although in that regard I think the Delphi Community site was well ahead of it's time, just that MS are putting real effort into it these days. ---- Richard Vowles <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: Just doing a poll on what kinds of online or printed matter you guys read - computer industry style.
