Those are good questions!
If you want to be on the Highlander beta, you can do .NET
2.0 Delphi development now. When are you planning on releasing your product? You
can also do C# if you want, as you say, a lot of Delphi developers are learning
C# (as it is pretty easy).
If you specifically want to use .NET 2.0, you only have two
options - Highlander beta and VS.NET 2005. If you are happy to stick with .NET
1.1 for the short term, then I really recommend using BDS and taking a good look
at ECO. Andy Bell in Auckland is doing both - he does ECO (as he can't drop it,
it makes him too productive) and he uses C# on .NET 2.0 as he likes the language
extensions it provides.

forget about Delphi.NET and use C#?
The reason I ask is, we are needing to do some new
development and I have FINALLY got a chance to use .NET and move forward
technology wise.
We have Vis Studio 2005 and would prefer to use Delphi.Net
now, since Delphi is (1) our language of choice, and (2) use it as a spring
board int C# which mose ex. delphi developers seem to bedoig these
days.

95% of people who use Delphi use Win32. Why would they use
.NET?
If you want .NET 2.0 now, then you will need to use
VS.NET2005. But many people, who want .NET, after seeing ECO, are perfectly
happy to wait, or mix.

now, when I can use .NET 2 in the "Other"' product? That of course I
besides the fact that I can use the latest Delphi W32 enhancements
etc.
