terbiasa melakukan hal ini. kalo nggak bakal "meledak" servernya. pertama kali gw
programming web dengan gaya delphi hasilnya web gw crash seminggu sekali. he he he...
ini trik sql-nya:
misalnya tabel customer dengan key custid dan isinya ampe 500rb record. caranya ambil
yg loe perluin aja.
nah, ada varible yg musti dibuat dulu:
pagesize,pagenum
select top [pagesize] * from customer where custid in(select top
[pagesize*(pagenum-1)] custid from customer)
jadi kalo mau ambil page ke 2 dengan ukuran halaman 10 rec/hal:
select top 10 * from customer where custid in(select top 10 custid from customer)
nah, cara ini lebih hemat memori kan? karena ambil yg perlu aja.
Tapi kalo nggak mao pusing, mending pake ADO aja, tinggal isi property pagesize-nya
saja dan tentukan absolutepage nya apa. absolutepage itu pagenum yg kita inginkan.
