Have you reported them against RHEV-M ? Both of these seem like bugs in
their API impl.
I am not against committing this, but would much rather RHEV-M address
these.

Ok, let see what the RHEV guys say about the template bug. It is being
tracked as https://fedorahosted.org/rhevm-api/ticket/284.
I think the code should just be case insensitive. But, I've filed a bug
on this to get some clarification:
