WebSphere is a bit bitchy ;) It really needs a beans.xml directly in WEB-INF/
This is *not* spec conform and I already reported a PMR. Please try to add it
and ping back if it did help or not.
What version of WAS do you have excactly? 8.0.0.1 was broken, 8.0.0.5 is pretty
ok. Had no time to test 8.0.0.6 and 8.5.x myself yet.
