More testing has revealed that it affects other plugins (scheduler) as
well.
Also found that reconnecting to daemon with Connection manager also works
which revealed a client.daemon.get_method_list call in the json_api
connect function. This means that methods stored in json_api
`_remote_methods` are only updating the methods list upon connecting and
not when enabling the plugins.
Not sure the best way to solve this issue.
