 This is also occurring for me under Debian 9 with the same versions of
 libtorrent and deluge-gtk running in Classic Mode.  The only additional
 thing I'm seeing is that if you rename the folder from "Foo Bar" to "Foo
 Bar (2017)" when you are adding a torrent, it gets added to Deluge with
 this folder structure instead:

 {{{
 └─ Foo Bar
    └─ (2017)
 }}}

 Then Deluge places the files that you expected to be in a top level "Foo
 Bar (2017)" folder inside the "(2017)" subfolder.
