Yes. 

In the long term, it would be probably preferable to create this
directory according to Windows rules but I don't want to dig in this
right now.

Hmmm. You cannot strip bytecode version. And I think you cannot strip
native code version neither (well, at least on Linux, due to ELF use of
OCaml. Don't now for Windows PE(?)).
