Hi,
I think this would be a really important feature for denemo: save a backup for
each file with the same name but with the suffix .denemo~ . This would work
as follows: each time you save and overwrite an existing file, instead of
overwriting File.denemo, you rename it to File.denemo~ (overwriting the old
File.denemo~) and save the current as File.denemo .
The text editor jEdit does something like this. I think it would help prevent
severe loss of data on crashes that corrupt the file. I have experienced such
crashes that leave the .denemo impossible to load.
