I have tracked down a problem with running LilyPond from Denemo. If you use the LilyPond download to install LilyPond in your home directory then the executable that Denemo launches is actually a shell script which invokes the lilypond executable after setting environment variables (etc?), which results in Denemo only receiving messages from the script, not from the lilypond executable. So the Denemo console remains empty and no error tracking is available. I am not sure how to fix this - probably some alteration to the script to get it to output the lilypond messages when it launches lilypond. Any offers to look at doing this? Some slight bash skills would be needed I suspect.
