Follow-up Comment #1, bug #38123 (project denemo):
My regular routine is to compile and install denemo as a normal user. I have
just done the whole process from ./autogen.sh onwards without an error. This
is with only the --prefix option given to configure. I can't see any .Tpo
files in portmidi/.deps only .Po
I did a make dist as well and that did not complain.
