When using a .tar.gz, gub will not download a new .tar.gz unless the
filename has changed. I also do not think that gub runs ./autogen.sh
unless git is used. I don't know how to force autogen.sh. So when making
modification to the autoconf stuff needs to have ./autogen.sh run for
the changes to take in effect to create the configure script and the
Makefile.in files.
