Follow-up Comment #1:
I have seen this on windows too. I am not sure which program the print dialog
belongs to, but on some windows boxes I couldn't find a print to file at all,
on others it wanted to print to a proprietary program (so as to promote use of
that program I guess).
Work around is to Export->PDF though you may want to turn off the
point-and-click before doing that to reduce the size of the pdf files.
