here's a feature suggestion (if it already exists, you can shame me for
being blind again):
under playback or some other relevant section, have a parameter labeled
"click/metronome intro # of bars" [ ], or something with better wording
The default could be 0, but if you upped it, say, to 1, then, when you
are at the beginning of the piece, you get a 1 bar of clicks BEFORE the
actual music begins (if you have upbeat notes then perhaps you'd hear a
fraction of a bar's intro clicking before you upbeat notes begin).
This is for the rare case where:
You are composing/writing a part in denemo but you want to test-play
along on a live instrument, along with what you've got in denemo. With
introductory, lead-in clicking, after you press "Play", you will have
time to grab your live instrument and get ready to play along with
denemo from the very beginning, instead of having to miss a bar or two,
as things are now.
Naturally, if your play cursor is not at the beginning of the score, the
intro clicking should not occur.
