Thanks! With a few false starts I ended up with this: avconv -i gstk6AudioCutTrim.ogg -i ~denemo-user/gstk6.ogv -c:v copy -c:a copy NotesFirst.ogv (I trimmed the audio down with audacity first). There are strange hiccups in the output but it is better than the first attempt - I am trying to upload it now.
