Jeremiah, the first patch you sent contains the files generated at build time, so I didn't find any relevant changes there. The second patch means HAVE_WIN_HACKS was not defined. Look into aubio/wscript to find out why. aubio 0.4.1 cross compiles fine with mingw32 and mingw64 on my linux box, and runs fine under wine.
