With MIDI, Denemo does not crash anymore; the previous behaviour is back, i.e. the console says another device is used, the configuration dialog shows an empty entry as the selected device is not present. So that issue is fixed. With audio out, it still crashes: (null) - WARNING : Couldn't register with accessibility bus: Did not receive a reply.
