Follow-up Comment #1, bug #44209 (project denemo):
Hmm, I see we already have this buried in the Display Only clef command. If
you set e.g. Bass clef and then make it display as treble that does what you
want.
You have to insert the display only clef after the one to be used for
typesetting, a bit non-obvious.
