I was just visiting someone who has an apple mac so I downloaded and ran http://denemo.org/~jjbenham/gub/uploads/denemo-1.2.4-0.darwin-x86.tar.bz2 from 18th July. It seemed to be working - the font issue fixed - apart from LilyPond which was either not there or not working...
