It's probably best to insert multi-measure rests one at a time into the
dynamics staff (and voice 2 staff as well) rather than use the staff
multi-measure command at the start. If there are any reets missing in the
dynamics staff, this can cause hairpins to mis-align. Also, if an object, such
as a double bar, is inserted only into the main staff, this will cause a break
in the multi-measure rest in the main staff only, so you will need to place an
identical multi-measure rest into the voice 2, and/or dynamcis staff so that
they all match.
