Exactly :)
But sometimes I have to reproduce such a score, so occasionally I do need
rehearsal mark [I] to make my score still matching the director's.
In LilyPond, I use:
...
\bar "||" \mark\default
...
\bar "||" \mark \markup{ \box \bold I } % [I] is skipped, so force
...
\bar "||" \mark #10 % resume with [K]
...
\bar "||" \mark\default
...
