Follow-up Comment #2, bug #50821 (project denemo):
One thing that avoids Denemo stopping other audio programs outputting is to
set the Audio backend preference in the Audio tab of the preferences to
"None"
This disables Denemo from creating audio of course but allows other programs
to use the audio while editing in Denemo.
