Eventually it may be a question the the version of libevince installed on your machine. (In fact you could test http://www.denemo.org/~rshann/denemo_2.4.x.AppImage which has a libevince built in) But to narrow it down I would run gdb denemo b action_for_link r and then try clicking on a link in the Print View. (I'm guessing you are familiar with gdb? If not ask!)
