Well, on its own that's true enough, however there are commands to
sharpen/flatten the next entered note e.g.


Command: Sharpen Next Note
Increases the sharpness of the next entered note. The status bar shows
the current state.
Location: Object Menu ▶ Notes/Rests ▶ Note Insertion
Internal Name: PendingSharpen

 and there are commands to move the cursor up/down an octave e.g.

Command: Octave Up
Moves cursor up one octave.
Location: Main Menu ▶ Navigation ▶ Cursor
Internal Name: JumpUpOctave

 so you could conceivably create a PC-keyboard entry method by creating
such a set of commands to advance the cursor after editing the note
name and assigning shortcuts (e.g. a, b, c ...) to them.
