This isn't the first time, ten years ago there was this https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?func=detailitem&item_id=47730#options I can't really understand why there is a whole bunch of code in src/command/lyric.c devoted to coloring the lyric pane; unfortunately it dates from before the src directory was split up so I find it difficult to look back that far and see if there was any rationale given for it - AFAIK I wrote the relevant code :( Richard > > Andreas
