DenyHosts 2.4 is now available for immediate download from:

http://www.denyhosts.net

This version is a minor enhancement release and contains
these items:

- added: PURGE_THRESHOLD setting (defaults to 0, or "none")
defines the maximum times a host will be purged. Once this amount
has been exceeded then this host will not be purged.

- added: SYSLOG_REPORT option which, if enabled, will send the
denied hosts report to syslog (in addition to -or- instead of
email, depending on your other settings). Based on patch
  submission by Michael Still.

- fix: restricted usernames were being added to wrong file
