Sorry for the overly quick usage of this list; I found a fix myself. Downloading the tarball from http://sourceforge.net/projects/denyhosts/files/ , I found a subdirectory 'DenyHosts' as well as the denyhosts.py script, both of which are not contained in the Macports installation. The package maintainer has been contacted.
