I hadn't check denyhosts logs in several weeks, but yesterday I noticed
denyhosts has been having problems trying to purge old entries. They all looked
like this:

2011-01-27 12:26:06.996 - denyfileutil: INFO purging entries oder than: Thu
Jan 6 12:26:06 2011
2011-01-27 12:26:07.047 - root : ERROR invalid literal for info() with
base 10: 'Wed Sep 22 12'
Traceback (most recent call last):
 File
"/opt/local/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/2.6/lib/python2.6/site-packages/DenyHosts/deny_hosts.py",
 line 241,
in sleepandPurge
    purge_time)
... more traces and then denyhosts is relaunched

No entries with 'Wed Sep 22 12' in hosts.deny but grep reported that string in
the binary file /opt/local/share/denyhosts/data/purge-history. I removed
purge-history to see if denyhosts would be happier and sure enough it started
working again.

Any ideas what could've caused purge-history to have problems? It's been
running fine for many months without any problems.

Thanks,
-Terry
