After install, eclipse fails to load the plugin because "libapr.dll not found".

you can install svn plugin from http://subclipse.tigris.org/ and then you'll be able to get source code

I thought I found the CVS repository, but when I
tried to download the project with Eclipse, I only got a .project file.

I've checked the site for FAQ or other info to give
CVS details, but so far, I'm not able to locate.

Can someone tell me how to configure Eclipse for
eclipse?

Here is what I'm using:

Host Name: cvs.apache.org
Repository path: /home/cvspublic
Userid: anoncvs
Connection type: pserver

Thanks
